art.yorkshire.com takes into account users who are visually
impaired or have difficulties using a mouse, and the
website is compatible with popular screen reading software. If
you have any problems finding the information you want you can use
the keyword search located near the top of the every
page.
All links to pages within art.yorkshire.com will open within the
same browser window but links to external websites may open in a
new browser window.
In general, the site conforms to WAI-AA standards where
HTML is used. Where documents are made available in other formats,
conformance may have not been achieved, for example PDF
documents.
Text resizing
By default, the text on our website is set to a relative size.
This means it can be adjusted by using the settings in your
browser, to increase or decrease the size. Below are instructions
of how to achieve this on a number of popular browsers.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Using the mouse:
- click View on the browser menu,
- click Text Size, and
- select the size you want.
Using the keyboard:
- click ALT + V
- Select Text Size by pressing
X
- use the up or down arrow keys to select your choice
- Press enter to confiorm your choice
Firefox & Netscape
Using the mouse:
- Click View on the browser menu
- Click Text Size, and
- Click Increase or Decrease as
desired
You may need to repeat this to increase the size more than one
level.
Using the keyboard:
- Increase: Ctrl +
- Decrese: Ctrl -
- Normal: Ctrl + 0
Opera
To zoom in or out:
- Increase: Ctrl +
